Jim Farrell
Why does Jim Farrell care and for whom?
As I finished my 35th year of teaching a variety of music subjects and styles I was looking for a phrase that would capture how I have taught over the years and what I could bring to other educators. "Jim Farrell cares" became that phrase. It has been my style throughout my teaching career that I really care about my students, colleagues, the music I direct, write and arrange and the quality of my work. Now that I am not teaching full-time I go out in the music community and am a resource to others to help create a spark in music programs, encourage teachers, provide unique arrangements and compositions and continue to contribute to the marching band community through drill design and visual instruction. I care about you and your contribution to the incredibly necessary art form of music. How can I help you?

Choir Director at Grandview HS
Jim worked with the CO All State Men's Jazz Choir in it's inaugural year. He did a fantastic job, and the men not only performed extremely well, they had a great time learning throughout the process. Jim has the perfect combination of extraordinary musical talent, and the ability to connect one-on-one with students. It is a magical process to watch!

We had such a great time with Jim Farrell! He came and worked with our jazz choir on a couple of tunes coming up for our concert! He is awesome! Get him in for your groups!

Band Director at Ralston Valley HS
I LOVED working with Jim. His drill design is easy to comprehend and teach. He is extremely approachable, which makes designing shows a breeze. His work is always on time, and quick with any changes. Jim’s drill really took our show to the next level. The fact that he is willing to personally come out and work with the students is an added bonus.
